Clu Appoints Jeff Wellstead as Principal of Clu Labs, Bringing Decades of Workforce Change and Innovation Expertise

Clu, the workforce decision architecture platform, today announces the appointment of Jeff Wellstead as the new Principal of Clu Labs, the tech company's professional services arm.

A respected People Tech expert and veteran Chief People Officer, Jeff brings over 25 years of HR and Operations leadership. His career has spanned SaaS, AI/machine learning, eCommerce, and biotechnology companies, helping organisations navigate the people, process, and technology challenges that come with scale.

For the last 20 years, Jeff has supported mature enterprises through digital transformation. From building innovation cultures in hyper-growth start-ups/scale-ups to preparing legacy organisations for acquisition, Jeff has gained a reputation and wide recognition as a leading voice in future-of-work strategy and people-first transformation.

Reflecting on joining Clu, Jeff said: “I started out as a grocery stock clerk at Wegmans supermarket, a company known for being one of the best employers in the US. As Principal of Clu Labs, Jeff will lead the next phase of Clu’s research and innovation agenda, including developing its professional services offering and strategic collaborations with partners in academia, government, and industry.
